Crieff

Crieff is a charming market town, steeped in history, famous for cattle-droving and whisky distilling.

The nearby Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret Distillery lays claim to being one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries.

The Crieff Hydro was formerly a Victorian spa, now modernised it offers luxurious spa days and treatments.

Drummond Castle Gardens are some of Europe’s and Scotland’s most important and impressive formal gardens.

Muthill

A few miles from the Braidhaugh Park lies the village of Muthill.

Once an important religious centre, it is the site of a Celi De monastery. The village was largely destroyed in the 1715-1716 Jacobite rising and was rebuilt in the 1740s. It boasts a rich history including over a hundred listed buildings.

The kirkyard, at the centre of the small town, contains the ruins of an important 15th-century parish church, which incorporates an 11th-century bell-tower.

Comrie

Famous for its ‘White Church’, and sitting on the confluence of three rivers, Comrie is a stunning village and well worth a visit.

This award-winning village has been recognised nationally for its beautiful floral displays.

Nearby Glen Lednock is a beautiful highland glen in the mountains above the village.

The glen holds a great stock of wildlife, including elusive Scottish wildcat and capercailliegolden eaglebuzzardmountain hare, grouse and number of deer species.
