What is the latest from Largo Leisure Holidays regarding coronavirus?
In light of the latest Scottish Government advice regarding coronavirus, we are now in a position to confirm our holiday parks will officially re-open on Monday 13th of July. This is of course dependent on public health advice and progression to phase 3 of the Scottish Government lockdown route maps.
We will be opening the holiday parks for our private owners and seasonal touring pitches from the 3rd of July 2020. We will be facilitating a soft opening on the 6th of July so if you already have a booking from the 6th of July to the 12th of July and have not rescheduled it, this can now go ahead as planned.
We can also allow ‘Priority’ booking for those customers whose booking was affected by covid19 and received a ‘gift voucher’ or ‘reschedule’ to book for arrival between the 6th and 12th of July. This is on a first come first serve basis and with no guarantees for availability.
We are taking new bookings from the Mon 13th of July 2020 for holidays for 3 nights and over. If we have to extend our closure period or indeed re-close to include your dates, we would be able to offer to reschedule your booking to later in 2020 or 2021 or indeed offer a gift voucher.
We recognise that this will be exciting news for many of our guests, our phone lines and communication channels are very busy. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding in these exceptional circumstances we are all experiencing.
COVID-19: Book with confidence…
While the lockdown may be easing, it's important to us that you can book with confidence while there is any risk of travel restrictions being re-imposed.
If your booking cannot go ahead because of nationwide travel restrictions or local lockdown restrictions imposed on your chosen holiday park, you will be able to re-book flexibly up to the end of the site's 2021 season and carry forward all monies paid.
Your booking and any payments are otherwise subject to our normal booking terms and conditions.
If I pay my balance for a future booking and you are still closed would I get to reschedule?
If you have a booking or make a booking with us after the 13th of July 2020 and you have already paid or are intending to pay the balance in full. If we have to extend our closure or indeed re-close due to covid19 to include your dates, we would be able to offer to reschedule your booking to later in 2020 or 2021. Can I rearrange my reservation?
Largo Leisure Holidays is currently working on an ongoing basis in line with current government guidelines. At present, we are re-scheduling guests whom were due to arrive between 23rd of March 2020 to 6h of July 2020. If you have an arrival between these times and have not re-arranged it, if you wish to re-schedule your booking please email us at email@example.com
What extra steps are you taking in regards to re-opening for guests?
We are planning for a phased re-re-opening of our parks. We will be introducing a variety of Covid19 measures to help with the cleaning time required and to protect staff and customers, these include:
- Min 3-night booking with at least 48hrs booking notice.
- Check in Times changed to 4:30pm check in and 9:30 check out
- Bed Linen and Bedding will not be provided for Wigwam to Woodland Cabins.
- Bed Linen and Bedding will be provided for 2-5 bed Lodges and Houses.
- Guests should bring their own Towels; we will not be able to offer towel hire.
- A self-service check in and check out procedure has been implemented.
- A comprehensive cleaning schedule is been devised to sanitise properties.
- Hot tubs have always been cleaned and sanitised between customers.
- Adequate PPE has been ordered for our staff.
- Hand gel stations around the parks.

Is your Reservations Office still open?
Our staff are still working to cover enquiries and are open 9am-5pm Mon to Sun as usual, they can be contacted on the below numbers or at firstname.lastname@example.org
Is the Killin 10k and Loch Tay Swim still on at Loch Tay Highland Lodges?
Currently we are unsure about this, these events are run and managed by Tay Fitness and we are awaiting more information from them. It is likely these events will not go ahead this year. Once we re-open it is expected that we will follow government guidelines and more information will be available soon.
